Thanks to the work of so many grassroots gun owners like you, the recent round of stimulus spending moved through Congress WITHOUT any gun control provisions added to it!
Thank you to everyone who emailed Senators Grassley and Ernst — along with your Congressman — insisting that they oppose Nancy Pelosi’s efforts to use the Coronavirus to advance radical gun control.
But before we get too excited, understand that Nancy Pelosi, Cindy Axne, and Abby Finkenauer are by no means just going to give up and walk away.
In fact, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just announced that the Senate will come back into session on May 4, to begin negotiating the next round of Coronavirus stimulus appropriations.
That’s Monday!
And after being soundly defeated by gun owners during the previous round of stimulus spending negotiations, Nancy Pelosi is going to pull out all the stops this time — determined to add some or all of H.R. 5717 in the next bill.
And that’s why we can’t sit back. Please send a new PRE- WRITTEN EMAIL to Senators Grassley and Ernst (and your Congressman) immediately, urging them to oppose H.R. 5717!
This is going to happen fast.
In fact, insiders tell us that even though the Senate has not gaveled back in yet, the negotiations are already happening behind the scenes!

P. S. While the previous Coronavirus stimulus bill passed Congress last week without gun control thanks to your hard work, the Senate will be gaveling in on Monday for debate on CARE2, the next Coronavirus stimulus bill.
And Nancy Pelosi, furious that gun owners stopped her from advancing gun control in the first round of stimulus spending, is going to do all she can to include some or all of H.R. 5717 into CARE2 legislation!
