This means that you still have time to leave a public statement of support for this bill on the legislature’s website — and it’s urgent that you do so.

SAPA legislation protects Iowa gun owners by ensuring that Joe Biden can’t force Iowa cops to enforce his federal gun control agenda. Rather, Iowa cops would enforce Iowa’s gun laws.
SAPA legislation protects Iowa cops. Right now if they are ordered to enforce Biden’s gun control they can either enforce the order or get fired. SAPA would protect them in statute.
SAPA legislation puts the power in the hands of the people. If a rogue law enforcement agency tries to violate SAPA law and enforces federal gun control, they can be sued in civil court.
But for any of this to take effect, it first needs to get out of the House Sub-Committee today, during their 4:00pm meeting.
Help make that happen, by leaving a public statement of support for the Second Amendment Preservation Act (HF-147) directly on the legislature’s website before they meet today!

I know that everyone is busy. That’s why we’ve prepared a sample statement of support for SAPA below. Feel free to copy and paste that onto the state’s website.
As a member of Iowa Gun Owners, I am writing to urge you to VOTE YES on HF-147, the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA.)
Joe Biden is a tyrant. The pistol brace ban that he is mandating through Executive Orders will make felons out of tens of thousands of Iowans on May 31st of this year. Worse, Biden expects Iowa cops to enforce this tyrannical garbage on otherwise law-abiding Iowans!
SAPA asserts state sovereignty and denies Joe Biden the use of Iowa cops when it comes to enforcing federal gun control laws.
So while Joe Biden is free to use federal authorities to enforce federal gun control laws, Iowa’s law enforcement community will not be helping him do it.
SAPA has tremendous Supreme Court precedent and it’s law in Missouri, where it has survived multiple court challenges.
So on behalf of law abiding gun owners across Iowa, please advance HF-147 so that Iowans are protected from Joe Biden before it’s too late!

Everything that we’ve accomplished together here in Iowa from Stand-Your-Ground to Constitutional Carry to last year’s Freedom Amendment will count for nothing if Biden can bypass them with Executive Orders and force Iowa cops to enforce them!
SAPA is the only way to stop our tyrant-in-chief! So please leave your statement in support of SAPA (HF-147) before the 4pm sub-committee meeting.
