With the heat index above 105 degrees last weekend, I know that many of you were forced to cancel your plans to attend our 2018 Iowa Gun Owners membership rally.

Yeah, we are not going to lie, it was warm out there.

But it was also a heck of a lot of fun!

For me personally, the highlight was getting my 12-yr old on the M249 SAW and watching the smile on his face after he burned through a 100-round belt of .223!

Yeah, I’m sure anti-gun snowflakes are going to be ‘triggered’ by seeing this picture -– but the only things getting triggered last Saturday at our rally were machine guns!

We have been receiving many requests from you for videos of the presentations made that day from Iowa Gun Owners and Gun Owners of America staff.

I spoke on behalf of IGO about our ten-year history of fighting for the Second Amendment here in Iowa, and how IGO members have not only reshaped gun politics — but Iowa politics as a whole!
