If you care about the Second Amendment, then your State Representative needs to hear from you immediately!
You see, Constitutional Carry is moving in the Iowa Senate. The bill (SF165) has fifteen cosponsors (including that of Senator Randy Feenstra) and has already passed a critical sub-committee.
In fact, the bill will likely be voted on as early as this week, as Senate leaders are fighting for gun owners.
Sadly, that’s where the good news ends.
That’s because Constitutional Carry is meeting with fierce resistance in the Iowa House, where leadership members are doing everything they can to block advancement of this bill.
And, at the moment, that includes your State Representative, Skyler Wheeler, who has refused to cosponsor any of the Constitutional Carry legislation that has been filed in the House — and has lashed out at gun owners who have urged him to act!
Worse, as the Chairman of the House Economic Growth Committee, Rep. Wheeler is reportedly using his influence to browbeat other lawmakers into not cosponsoring Constitutional Carry either!
Insiders report to us that Rep. Wheeler (who campaigned as being a supporter of Constitutional Carry) is refusing to back this legislation to curry favor with House leadership.
That’s why I hope you’ll contact Representative Wheeler right away, using the information that I will provide below!
It’s urgent that you do.
Constitutional Carry is already law in fourteen states (almost 1/3 of the country) — including two contiguous states, Missouri and South Dakota.
And it is very likely that the same bill will pass in Oklahoma as well, this coming week!
Here in Iowa, where gun owners have retired dozens of lawmakers who have opposed this legislation, Constitutional Carry is the hottest issue in state politics.
But that will all come to nothing if Rep. Wheeler continues to refuse to support this legislation. So please contact him immediately, using the information provided below!

Representative Wheeler is YOUR representative in Des Moines, meaning he works for you!
So please don’t let him get away with campaigning on Constitutional Carry legislation, only to then stab it in the back by inaction once he’s safely in Des Moines.

The Iowa House already lost 5 seats last November, leaving Republicans with a slim majority in Des Moines. We have no idea how much longer we will have the votes to pass this bill — which is why Representative Wheeler needs to act now!
