We are just days away from the Iowa Gun Owners 2018 Membership rally, taking place in rural Mt. Auburn!

Already almost 1,000 Iowans have made plans to attend, and this is certainly going to be the gun rights event of the year here in Iowa!
Many of you have been asking about the weather, and it’s shaping up to be a great day with highs in the low 90’s and very low humidity!
And, of course, it’s Iowa — so if you don’t like that weather forecast just hang around for five minutes and it will surely change. 😊

Time: 10:00am – the end.
Location: Sure Shot Range, 1777 55th St, Mt. Auburn, IA
This is going to be a great event, packed with fun things for gun owners, including:
>>> The chance to mingle with hundreds of fellow gun owners;
>>> The option to test fire up to 100 different full auto machine guns –- be sure to bring cash for this portion;
>>> Time to bring new/novice shooters to our small arms range, where they can receive a safety briefing and shoot for FREE;
>>> An update on the fight for gun rights in D.C. from Gun Owners of Americas’ Erich Pratt;
>>> The chance to receive a legislative update from Iowa Gun Owners on the status of the fight for gun rights here in Iowa.
To help make the day more comfortable, we are going to have games available for your kids, so that they can burn off some energy.
In addition, we have a food vendor lined up so that you can purchase refreshments throughout the day. You can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks with you.
In the event of rain or heat, we will have a massive tent on site as well for you to relax under throughout the day.
With the national and local calls for gun control growing louder by the day, gun grabbers are trying to shame gun owners into falling into line.
I don’t know about you, but I am PROUD to be a gun owner and I am PROUD to stand up and fight for my right to defend myself and my loved ones.
This rally will be a great way to show your pride in the Second Amendment, and to learn more about where we are in this fight here in Iowa and across the country.
