The Iowa Gun Owners 2018 Membership rally is just over two weeks away, and this is shaping up to be our best event ever!
Already over 700 Iowans have registered to attend this event –- so if you haven’t signed up for your free tickets, please do so further down in this email. More on that below.
In the meantime, I wanted to make sure that you knew this is a family event and that you are more than welcome to bring your children and grandchildren with you.
In fact, we just rented two big bounce houses that will be set about 1/3 mile away from the machine gun pit so that your kids can vent some energy throughout the day!
I know that my own kids were much more excited about coming along once I showed them the pictures below, so make sure you show them to your family members if they are on the fence!
Some of you have expressed concerns about excessive heat and/or rain as this is an outdoor event in June.
We also wanted to make sure you knew that we are going to have a huge outdoor tent with 50 round tables and close to 400 chairs on site as well!
No, we can’t fit everyone inside, but if you want a place to feed the kids over noon hour or just want to sit down and relax for a while during the afternoon heat, please feel free.
And of course, we are going to have machine guns there for you to shoot.
Over a hundred of them!
We’re going to have everything from the belt-fed Browning .30 to a full auto Glock 17 — and everything in between.
You are also going to be getting a briefing of the fight for the Second Amendment at the federal level from Gun Owners of America’s Erich Pratt –- D.C.’s no compromise gun rights organization.
In addition, you will also have a chance to hear from Iowa Senator Rick Bertrand on our years-long fight to pass Stand-Your-Ground and the ongoing battle for Constitutional Carry!
If all of that isn’t enough, we are going to have a small arms range on site (separate from the machine gun pit) with a variety of handguns for new or beginner shooters to test fire, and we’re even going to provide some free ammo!
All in all, it’s going to be a great day and I really hope you can attend.

The Second Amendment has been under attack lately in ways that we have not seen for years.
The media, anti-gun lawmakers, and anti-gun activists are doing everything they can to demonize gun owners in hopes that we sit down in shame for being gun owners.
