Petition to Restore Constitutional Carry in Iowa

-Whereas: The US Constitution, the constitution of 44 states, common law, and the laws of all 50 states recognize the right to use arms in self-defense; and

-Whereas: States that restrict the rights of citizens to carry guns for self-defense have higher crime rates than states with Constitutional Carry; and

-Whereas: Constitutional Carry laws fulfill the right to use arms in self-defense by making sure individuals are legally able to carry firearms for protection; and

-Whereas: Constitutional Carry would allow every law-abiding Iowa citizen who wants one to be able to carry a gun to protect themselves and their families;

-Therefore: In the interests of freedom, and the right of individuals to protect themselves and their families, I urge you to both cosponsor and seek roll-call votes on The Iowa Constitutional Carry bill.
